The Tide at The Buckle is a laid-back café tucked into the scenic setting of Buckle Holiday Park along Marine Parade in Seaford. Its charm lies not just in the quality coffee but in how its location and atmosphere blend to create a welcoming coastal retreat. Whether you’re camping nearby, visiting the beach, or simply passing through the area, this spot offers a relaxed pace where locals and visitors alike pause to enjoy the views and the easygoing vibe.

The café’s coffee menu centers on well-made classics like Americano, Latte, Flat White, and Caramel Macchiato, along with a nice selection of teas, including English Breakfast and Earl Grey. Beyond the drinks, fresh pastries and cakes are a staple, appealing to those who want a simple yet satisfying bite in a casual setting.

The outdoor seating is a definite draw here, with picnic tables close to the beach where it’s common to see people soaking up sea breezes and watching the waves roll in. The scene is informal and welcoming, ideal for anyone wanting to escape the bustle, whether for a quiet moment alone or a relaxed catch-up with friends. Dog owners appreciate the café’s pet-friendly approach, making it a valuable spot for locals walking their dogs along the coast.

Service at The Tide tends to add to the overall experience, with staff noted for their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile—whether it’s offering an extra splash of milk or simply engaging warmly with customers. The café’s popularity means it can get busy, especially during sunny weekends and peak holiday times, so a short wait is sometimes part of the visit.

Best times to visit are during sunny afternoons or when the park and beach areas are buzzing with outdoor activity, supporting an easy connection between a day spent outside and a comforting hot drink or iced option from the café’s menu. The place suits a wide variety of visitors—from campers and families to locals out for a stroll—who appreciate a spot where the view, coffee quality, and down-to-earth hospitality come together naturally.

I think this is my favourite coffee spot...great location, lovely coffee and cakes and truly wonderful staff who make you feel welcome everytime. The perfect place to sit and relax, watch the world go by, soak up the rays and listen to the sea. Counting the days until they open for the season. Saw the guys yesterday busy decorating and getting ready to open early next month. They are looking forward to welcoming everybody.

Very friendly and happy staff. Amazing spot to have a coffee shop. As I was camping and had ran out of milk they went the extra mile to proivde me with a cup of milk. Its the little things that make the difference when your camping! Hope to see you next year

We like to pop down to The Tide for cakes & hot drinks. Good food and drinks, and friendly service, but we had to queue for a while this time. Tables and chairs on site and picnic tables on the beach.

The Tide is fantastic! 5* coffee with 5* service. Imogen and Regan have created an incredible oasis on the Seaford coast. Not only is the coffee top quality but the location, the view and the people make it all that extra special.

What a little gem on the seafront great place to go for hot drinks, cake and more. Good choice of milk too, few places stock the skinny, semi and full fat milk these days but you get the choice here plus soya and oat milk. We had the biscoff cake and it was very yummy lots of choices of coffee and cake. Great place not been there very long but well worth a visit. Plus its open at 8 weekdays fab for that coffee before work. Update! So 3 years on we visited this lovely place again, it's still has fabulous coffee with plenty of choices, we only wanted coffee this time and we got there rather early but it wasnt a problem and we all had our coffees very quickly. If you want somewhere with a warm, friendly welcome and great coffee this is just the most perfect place.

I never usually walk to the far end of the beach as usually park by the Martello tower but decided yesterday a walk was needed - and so glad I did. Found the The Tide and what an absolute cracking place - great selection of drinks and cakes but also a lovely relaxing place to sit and take in the view. I look forward to returning with my partner and did I mention, the couple running it are lovely and friendly too - great stuff. See you soon.

I visited The Tide with my mum yesterday and it was such a lovely, friendly atmosphere, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. There were lots of vegan options and my tummy was rumbling so I was really grateful that we noticed this Cafe (you can't miss it, that beautiful psychedelic caravan is a real pull!). I wholeheartedly recommend this little Cafe to anyone visiting or living in the area.
